Annette Isserlis is Principal viola of Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists and a founder member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. With these groups and others she has travelled extensively, recording and broadcasting. She has made solo and chamber appearances in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Annette is frequently invited to conservatoires as external examiner and to adjudicating panels such as the BBC Young Musician and the Royal Philharmonic Society.
