To expand its internationally distinctive research, the RCM is seeking to engage a fixed-term (18 months) Research Associate to join its Centre for Performance Science. The post-holder will undertake research on the internationally-funded TELMI project (Technology Enhanced Learning of Musical Instrument Performance), working closely with Imperial College London’s Biologically Inspired Computer Vision Group. We are looking for candidates with experience in the following:
- Programming. You should also have experience with real-time video processing and computer vision libraries, such as OpenCV.
- Analysing human motion, as well as familiarity with working with large amounts of visual and audio data.
- Machine learning.
- Working in academic research environments and with writing and publishing peer-reviewed research.
- PhD in a relevant subject.
