RCM graduate becomes an internet sensation!

Viola player Lukas Kmit, who graduated from the RCM in 2010, has become an overnight celebrity thanks to a chance encounter with a mobile phone.

While in the middle of a recital at the Orthodox Synagogue in Presov, Slovakia, Lukas reacted to a Nokia mobile phone ring not with the customary annoyance, but by improvising on the notorious theme. This impromptu performance was captured on video, and has become a hit around the world!
