RCM Director of Opera Michael Rosewell has been appearing on our screens in the BBC television series "Maestro at the Opera".

This popular BBC 2 series follows four celebrities as they face the extremely taxing demands of working as conductors in the world of opera. Michael is mentor to "Strictly come Dancing" judge Craig Revel Horwood, and faces the difficult challenge of persuading a trained dancer that when it comes to conducting, you don't necessarily need to use your entire body...

The series is a follow-up to the acclaimed 2008 series "Maestro", which saw celebrity conductors tackle symphonic music. RCM Head of Conducting Peter Stark has worked as consultant for both series.
