The RCM’s composition faculty is celebrating a host of fantastic achievements by its students this term…

Daniel Elms has secured a 6-month internship with composer Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean) in Los Angeles from July.

Samuel Pegg will be a full-time assistant to George Fenton in preparation for and during the upcoming Frozen Planet Live US concert tour. His duties will include orchestration, arranging and score preparation.

Remote Control Productions is welcoming two recent RCM graduates to its ranks: Martin Batchelar and Nathan Stornetta. Nathan will be a full-time assistant for composers and producer Lorne Balfe to help expand the company’s London operations, while Martin will take up a full-time position at the firm.

Emily Appleton Holley has joined the team at Delicious Digital in London, where she will be working on the BBC's Natural World series and various advertising campaigns. Delicious Digital has also provided informal internships for our students during the academic year 11/12.

Rafael Baldwin and Ewan Clark have also recently been invited to screenings of their work for various producers in Cannes.

Ewan Clark’s orchestrations were recently played by the Philharmonia Orchestra at a dinner for world royalty at Buckingham Palace.

Congratulations to them all!
