RCM masterclasses are very special events, where the world’s most influential musicians pass on their knowledge to the stars of tomorrow. We’re delighted to announce that we’re now making these available to a worldwide audience.

Two of the most anticipated masterclasses of our autumn season are being broadcast live on the RCM website. A vocal masterclass by RCM alumnus Gerald Finley makes an exciting start for our autumn season. There are still a few tickets available, but if you can’t make it in person you can view the entire masterclass live by tuning into www.rcm.ac.uk/live from 2pm on Wednesday 18 September.

Later in the term, superstar pianist Lang Lang gives a masterclass with students from the RCMJD and Lang Lang Music World. This event sold out quickly, but if you haven’t managed to get your hands on a ticket you can watch all the action online from 1pm on Saturday 16 November. 

Both events will appear on the RCM’s YouTube channel, where you can also now watch recordings of two recent masterclasses, with legendary violinist Ida Haendel and pianist András Schiff.
