Jaques Samuel Junior Department Piano Festival

Four students from the Royal College of Music Junior Department have been successful in the Jaques Samuel Junior Department Piano Festival. 

The Festival took place on Sunday 26 October and, from those performances, Calvin Leung, John Gallant, Miranda Porter and Vincent Ling were all chosen to perform at the Wigmore Hall in a concert on Sunday 16 November.

The concert at the revered London venue saw Calvin Leung perform Chopin’s Nocturne in E flat major and Gavrilin’s March with John Gallant, who also performed Chopin’s Three Ecossaises. Miranda Porter performed Liszt’s Liebestraum no 3 and Vincent Ling performed the Prelude from Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque.
