Ruby's Manchester Debut

RCM alumna Ruby Hughes is making her concert debut with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra on Friday 3 February, singing Mahler’s Rückert Lieder. The concert, which is conducted by HK Gruber, will be broadcast live from Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall at 7.30pm on BBC Radio 3, and will be available for a further week on BBC iPlayer.

Ruby graduated from the RCM in 2009, having studied under Lillian Watson. She is a BBC New Generation Artist, and in 2011 she made her debuts at English National Opera and the Buxton Festival.
