Prize Win in Portugal

Pianist Vasco Dantas Rocha has won First Prize at the XIII International Piano Competition “Cidade do Fundão” 2012 in Portugal.

In the final round of the competition Vasco performed a delightful programme of Beethoven’s Sonata op 31 no 3 in E flat Major "The Hunt" followed by six Debussy Preludes (from Volume 1). The prize includes concert performance opportunities in Brazil next year.
