Fees and funding for Non-EU students

Whether you are planning to study as an undergraduate or postgraduate student at the Royal College of Music, you will need to consider how you will finance your studies. This section contains details about tuition fees, living costs and financial support for Non-EU students.

Tuition fees vary depending on whether you are classified as a Non EU or UK/EU student. For more details click here or visit UK Council for International Student Affairs for more information.

You are responsible for paying the fees for the first year of your programme before commencing your studies. You will be contacted in August with advice on how to do this, and these should usually be paid by Registration Day, which is the first day of term for new students. It is also possible to pay in installments.

In accordance with UK Border Agency requirements (correct as at April 2011) you must have at least £7,200 in maintenance funds available for your first year of study. However, if possible we would recommend that you budget at least £9,000 per year for living costs in London. Most students find that they need at least this to live comfortably.
