EU Referendum

Information for EU Students Applying for September 2017 Entry

The RCM has a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world, in particular from our European neighbours.  EU students play an essential role in College life and this will not change following the EU referendum. Applications from EU students continue to be welcomed for 2017 entry and beyond.

TUITION FEES

The College wants to reassure you that all EU students starting their RCM programme in September 2017 will continue to be charged the same tuition fees as UK students for the duration of the programme.

Student Loans

The UK Government has announced that EU students applying for 2017 entry will be eligible to apply for student loans and grants for the duration of their course. This means that students applying to study at the RCM in September 2017 will be eligible to apply for the same funding and support as current EU students and this eligibility will continue throughout their course, even if the UK exits the European Union during that period.

Visas

The RCM is currently awaiting further information from the UK Government.  However, the process of leaving the EU is likely to take some time and there is no reason to assume there will be any immediate changes following the EU Referendum, including in the circumstances of European citizens living and studying here.
