RCM students performing orchestral music

Welcome to Autumn 2018 at the Royal College of Music

We have a packed season of events this autumn including the return of our popular Orchestral Masterworks series, festivals for viol and guitar, as well as anniversary events marking the armistice and the lives of composers Sir Hubert Parry and Lili Boulanger. Haydn's opus 33 string quartets will be paired with an exciting mix of works and there is a chance to hear Bach's organ music in a dedicated rush hour series. As ever, we welcome a host of famous faces to lead our students in unforgettable masterclasses, including renowned flautist Sir James Galway. And be sure not to miss this season's classic opera, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, directed by RCM alumnus and celebrated baritone Sir Thomas Allen.
