Annette Isserlis


Annette Isserlis studied at the RCM. She was a founder-member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and for many years principal viola for English Baroque Soloists. With these and many other period instrument ensembles she has toured, recorded and broadcast extensively, as well as appearing as a soloist and chamber-musician.

She is a regular participant at IMS Prussia Cove Open Chamber Music, and recently became a member of Sir Andras Schiff's Cappella Andrea Barca.

Other musical activities include masterclasses, adjudicating, music-arranging and record-producing.
