Leanne Singh-Levett

Leanne Singh-Levett has built a busy and varied career encompassing song, chamber music, operatic and choral repertoire. A regular staff pianist in the Vocal Department of the Royal College of Music, Leanne also accompanies and coaches the Jette Parker Young Artists at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden. Leanne plays for both Kingston Choral Society and Imperial Male Voice Choir, and as a répétiteur has worked for Opera East/ROH2, Independent Opera at Sadler’s Wells, Ryedale Festival Opera and Opéra de Baugé as well as the RCM International Opera School. 

Following her postgraduate studies with Roger Vignoles and Andrew Ball at the Royal College of Music (supported by a Gordon Calway Stone Memorial Award) Leanne studied orchestral playing in the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Foyle Future Firsts programme, and was a Britten Pears Young Artist, taking part in masterclasses with Malcolm Martineau.

Leanne appears regularly in concert and has performed in such venues as the Purcell Room, Royal Festival Hall, the National Gallery, St Martin-in-the-Fields, the V&A, the Pump Room in Bath and Brighton’s Chapel Royal. In October 2013 she performed in the prestigious Academic Glinka Capella in St Petersburg with the Imperial Male Voice Choir. Leanne has accompanied prominent soloists including Jeremy White, Deborah Miles-Johnson, Richard Suart and Marcus Farnsworth, and has played for workshops with the Royal Opera’s Director of Opera, Kasper Holten.
