RCM Opera Circle

The stages of the world's great opera houses would be poorer places without the comprehensive programme of training and nurturing undertaken at the RCM International Opera School.

Year after year, exceptionally talented young singers are turned into polished performers who go on to illustrious careers. Current students include the winner and runner-up of the 2009 Kathleen Ferrier Awards; former students include Sir Thomas Allen, Gerald Finley, Janis Kelly and Jonathan Lemalu. One of the priorities for the Royal College of Music is to ensure that its Opera School maintains and builds on this reputation for excellence by continuing to attract the very best students from around the world.

For a limited period we are inviting opera-lovers to join as one of ten Founder Patrons for a minimum donation of £5,000. For a donation of £10,000 we would be delighted to create an opera scholarship in the name of your choosing.
