Headshot for Patrizia Dina

A double-Honours graduate in modern languages, with an emphasis on Italian literature, Patrizia Dina is an Italian Vocal Coach who has worked with all the major music colleges, including the Royal College of Music, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She also works regularly with Scottish Opera, the BBC Singers and the LSO Chorus, among others, and has collaborated on recordings with EMI’s Debut label, and Universal Music.

A qualified London Tourist Guide specialising in music tours with an operatic slant, Patrizia has also made working translations of operas from Italian into English and vice versa. She is in demand as proof reader of Italian and English libretti and programmes, and occasionally uses her classically trained voice when an Italian speaker is required to recite poetry or prose on stage, as in Puccini’s Le Villi for Scottish Opera (‘the speaker of the poetic recitations.......was Patrizia Dina, whose natural eloquence exemplified the entire show’. Opera Magazine).
