The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's greatest conservatoires. Our excellence was recognised by the 2019 QS World University Rankings, in which we ranked as the top institution for performing arts in the UK for the fourth consecutive year. The RCM also achieved an overall rating of gold for its outstanding teaching and learning provision for undergraduates in the first ever Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
Over the past 4 years the RCM has undertaken a pioneering programme to enhance students’ learning, using digital resources to support both classroom and one-to-one teaching. Since September 2017, all courses at the RCM are supported by a tailored online learning platform, placing the RCM at the forefront of innovation in conservatoire education.
Digital Learning at the RCM is supported by a full-time Digital Learning Manager and one full-time Digital Learning Coordinator. Responsibilities of the coordinator’s role include:
- Supporting RCM students and professors in the use of digital learning platforms and technology
- Administering online platforms, helping manage user access, media uploads and deletions and so on
- Coordinating digital learning events and activities including training sessions and distance masterclasses
This post is offered on a permanent, full time basis and is immediately available. This is a full time position, but a job share arrangement may be considered.
