The Composition Faculty at the RCM has a long and exceptionally distinguished history, and is the largest of its type in any conservatoire in the country.  The faculty numbers over 80 students, and with composition courses including composition for screen, its graduates are working in all areas of the profession.  The Head of Composition is responsible for leading the Composition Faculty, its professors and students, as a senior manager within the College, and active as an ambassador and enabler for projects and opportunities in the College and around the world.

This role reports to Directorate through the Artistic Director and is an active member of the wider senior management of the College.
