Competition Success for Oxana Shevchenko

Oxana Shevchenko was awarded First Prize of £2000 and the Audience Prize at the finals of the Sheepdrove Intercollegiate Piano Competition in Newbury on Sunday 20 May, where the panel of adjudicators included David Whelton and Iain Burnside. Oxana studies with Dmitry Alexeev, supported by the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Scholarship.

Emmanuelle Fleurot was one of the 3 other pianists who made it to the final in the same competition.
