The Big Give Christmas Challenge: one gift, twice the impact

The Royal College of Music is proud to have been selected to take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign, for the eighth year.
How to donate
Supporters can make the most of this wonderful opportunity by donating via the RCM page on the Big Give website from 12pm on Tuesday 27 November until 12pm on Tuesday 4 December 2018.
We will only be able to double donations whilst our match funds last, so please make sure you donate as soon after 12pm on Tuesday 27 November as possible!
Please note: A clear message will be displayed to indicate when the Challenge has started and when your donation will be doubled. If you start the donation process before 12pm on 27 November, your donation will not be matched. You will be informed prior to making your donation whether your gift has been matched.
About the Big Give
This year the campaign will run from Tuesday 27 November, known as #GivingTuesday, until Tuesday 4 December 2018. During this week any gift from £5 to £5,000 made to the Royal College of Music is in with the chance of being matched, doubling the value of the donation.
Philanthropy has always played an important role in the Royal College of Music's history. The RCM remains committed to its founding principle: that those with talent should have the opportunity to study with us, regardless of their means.
This year we are hoping to raise £100,000 to support even more young musicians through the RCM scholarship fund. This fund enables students from all over the world and from all backgrounds to access tuition provided by the very best professors, utilise unrivalled facilities and take advantage of the exceptional opportunities available to musicians in London.
Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Alec Reed, the Big Give Christmas Challenge is the UK's biggest online match funding campaign, helping UK registered charities raise thousands of pounds for their causes. Since the Big Give launched the campaign in 2008, the Christmas Challenge has raised over £90 million for thousands of charity projects.
