Enjoy a varied musical programme inspired by objects and stories from the collections housed in the RCM Museum, and featuring performances on a variety of instruments.

This is a relaxed performance and is open to people with autism, sensory and communication impairments and learning disabilities. Our doors will remain open throughout the concert and you are welcome to move around the space, make noise and use our break-out room next door. Friendly staff will be on hand to meet you and assist in any way during performance. Find out more about getting to the RCM, transport options and access information.

Lunch & snacks

BaRCM offers a great range of hot and cold snacks and beverages each weekday between 9am and 4pm as well as delicious full lunch options between 12pm and 2pm.

Evening performance refreshments

The RCM offers a range of pre-performance and interval refreshments, plus a selection of light snacks for those attending evening events in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall and the Britten Theatre. These are served between 6pm and 9pm (5pm for early evening performances) in the Britten Theatre Bar or the RCM Foyer Bar.

The main entrance to the RCM has eight steps up from the pavement and two inside the main doors. A lift is available for visitors with limited mobility. The lift is built into the smaller staircase to the left of the main entrance steps. There is an intercom button on the control panel, which can be seen and reached easily from the street. On arrival, press the buzzer to notify a member of RCM staff, who will come out to meet you and operate the lift for you.

All our event venues can be accessed by visitors with limited mobility via the lift at the main entrance.
