Talented musicians from the Brass Faculty present a thrilling and varied programme of works arranged for brass ensembles for our latest In Focus series release.
Weber’s fantastical overture to his well-known opera Der Freischütz offers an electrifying start to this concert followed by a reworking of Bach’s festive Christmas Oratorio. These memorable arrangements set the scene for Ted Chance’s exciting new work for eight horns, Fanfare.
Recorded live at the Royal College of Music in London on 24 November 2020.

Support the RCM
The RCM's spring season is free to watch online, but the College welcomes gifts of every size to its Scholarships Fund, through which talented young musicians can access world-class education, regardless of their financial means. More than 50% of RCM students currently receive financial support from the College, but with rising tuition fees and costs of living set against a backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, your support is more vital than ever.
