The RCM Chamber Essentials series explores well-known works alongside those by composers from under-represented backgrounds and new works by RCM students.
'Pride' takes the central theme in the third of the RCM's thematic Chamber Essentials series, as RCM musicians perform works by alumni Michael Tippett and Benjamin Britten. Discover and explore these fascinating works, with musicians also performing music by accomplished female composer Ethel Smyth, an avid advocate for women's rights and equal recognition.
Recorded live in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall on 13 May, at the Royal College of Music in London, this is an on-demand broadcast event.

Support the RCM
The RCM's summer season is free to watch online, but the College welcomes gifts of every size to its Scholarships Fund, through which talented young musicians can access world-class education, regardless of their financial means. More than 60% of RCM students currently receive financial support from the College, but with rising tuition fees and costs of living set against a backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, your support is more vital than ever.
