Canadian cellist Denis Brott, Founder and Artistic Director of the renowned Montreal Chamber Music Festival, leads a masterclass with musicians from the Royal College of Music Strings Faculty.
Professor of Cello and Chamber Music and Conductor of the Grand Orchestre à cordes at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal, Denis is recognized internationally as one of Canada’s finest musicians, and his concert tours have taken him to four continents as soloist, recitalist and chamber musician.
Denis regularly gives cello and chamber music classes at the Royal College of Music and at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and is visiting professor with the Nederlandse Strijkkwartet Academie (NSKA) in Holland giving classes in string quartet performance. In 2023 he led masterclasses at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and presented a Beethoven Seminar at the Yonsei University School of Music, Seoul, Korea.
