Guest tickets

Ticketing for guests is handled by the RCM Box Office, which is expected to open for sales on Tuesday 28 May 2024 at 10am.

Each graduand may initially invite up to two guests. Tickets can be purchased either online or over the phone. The graduand name will need to be given to Box Office staff when ordering so we know who has been allocated guest tickets.

The deadline to purchase your two guest tickets is Friday 7 June 2024. Provided tickets remain after this date, graduands will be offered the opportunity to purchase additional tickets if they wish. Please note that availability of additional tickets cannot be guaranteed, so please book on time to avoid disappointment.

Schedule

The full schedule details will be published in late May.

Please refer to the individual page for each ceremony to find out your schedule:

Ceremony one: 10.45am

Ceremony two: 1.15pm

Ceremony three: 3.45pm

We are asking students to initially confirm whether they can attend on Graduation day. This will enable the RCM to ascertain how many graduating students are attending, before allocating which qualifications will graduating in which ceremony. Managing numbers in this way helps us to keep the numbers attending each ceremony roughly equal, and avoid overcrowding.

We will inform you of the exact timing of the ceremony for your course and schedule for the day nearer the time, once we know the number of attendees. Please keep checking this page for updates.

As a guide, the programme for each ceremony will be:

  • Arrive and collect gown (if not already collected on the Thursday)
  • Group photograph on RCM front steps
  • Registration and take seats in Britten Theatre
  • Ceremony in Britten Theatre (approx 50 minutes)
  • Reception in Amarillys Fleming Concert Hall (approx 1 hour)
