Development & Alumni Engagement Opportunities
The Development & Alumni Engagement department (DAE) raises significant funds each year from individuals, companies, charitable trusts and foundations to support the RCM in its educational and artistic mission. In 2015, the RCM announced plans to transform its building in the heart of South Kensington and this is a key priority of an ambitious capital campaign, More Music: Reimagining the Royal College of Music.
The DAE department is now seeking to appoint four motivated individuals for the following opportunities:
- Major Gifts Coordinator (Grade 5)
- Major Gifts Officer (Grade 6)
- Development Operations Officer (Stewardship & Events) (Grade 6)
- Alumni & Supporter Engagement Officer (Grade 6)

Volunteering Opportunities at the Royal College of Music Museum
The Royal College of Music Museum closed in December 2015 as part of a major refurbishment project. The museum is looking for enthusiastic volunteers in the fields of conservation, digitisation, research and public engagement.
A Junior Fellowship is an award offered competitively to aspiring musicians at the beginning of their careers. Junior Fellowships enable musicians to gain experience, confidence and connections of the kind that help them to establish themselves professionally.
