Summer Season on sale

Wednesday 8 April 2015

Summer is almost here, and so is a bright new season of musical events at the Royal College of Music!

Tickets are now on sale for our exciting line up of concerts, operas, masterclasses, talks and participatory events, which showcase the RCM’s outstanding young performers and feature some of the world’s most acclaimed musicians.

Orchestral highlights this season include Schubert's majestic 'Great' Symphony conducted by Sir Roger Norrington, performances to mark Sibelius and Nielsen’s 150th anniversaries and a concert celebrating British Baroque.

We shine the spotlight on string music in Super String Sunday, our String Fantasia concert at Wigmore Hall, and our ground-breaking String Quartet Collective series. There’s also exquisite chamber music to enjoy from the Ruisi and Sacconi quartets, in our Chamber Essentials and Rising Stars series and in a fascinating recital exploring the RCM archives.

In addition, this season offers plenty of events to excite new music fans, including our Composition for Screen Showcase, innovative student-led project The Infinite Bridge, and a brand-new opera, Singularity, by RCM professor Michael Oliva.

Most Royal College of Music events are free or low-cost, allowing everyone to enjoy the great music on offer. To book tickets go to www.rcm.ac.uk/events, call us on 020 7591 4314, or drop in and see us in person at the RCM Box Office (open Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm).
