RCM International Artist in Residence, violist Maxim Rysanov, brings his breadth of experience to a masterclass with RCM violists.
Maxim is a Ukrainian-British artist who frequently performs at festivals including the BBC Proms, Salzburg and Verbier, and is a regular concerto soloist with orchestras around the world. His chamber music partners include Maxim Vengerov, Nicola Benedetti and Michael Collins, and he regularly collaborates with composers to generate new repertoire for the viola.

Turangalîla at the Royal Festival Hall
The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Jac van Steen, perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece Turangalîla-symphonie at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday 1 May, 7.30pm.
