Directed by Kyle Horch, the RCM Saxophone Ensemble takes on one of Steve Reich’s most mesmerising scores: New York Counterpoint.
The ensemble marks the 150th anniversary of RCM alumnus Gustav Holst in an arrangement of his Brook Green Suite, and there are two UK premieres of music by Nicola LeFanu and Yasuhide Ito.

Turangalîla at the Royal Festival Hall
The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Jac van Steen, perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece Turangalîla-symphonie at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday 1 May, 7.30pm.
