Master of Composition (MComp)
Mikel is a Master of Composition (MComp) graduate from the RCM, a video game composer and BAFTA Connect member.

Mikel is a British and Spanish-Basque video game composer based in Los Angeles. His credits include 3D brawler Over My Dead Body, naval battle simulator Waves of Steel, and the Kickstarter success The Silent Kingdom by Lucky Cat. While studying for his Masters at the RCM, Mikel recorded an album of video game soundtrack medleys which was produced and recorded in the Belle Shenkman Studio. The album was nominated for a G.A.N.G. award for Best Game Music Cover or Remix. After assisting two-time Grammy-winning composer and RCM alumnus Christopher Tin, Mikel had the opportunity to assist an LA composer and relocated to LA.

Mikel is also a composer with West One Music Group, a London and LA-based production music company, through which he has released a period drama album called Stories Through Time. He is in demand as an additional composer, working on games due to be released next year.
