Artist Diploma in Performance and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Sean completed an Artist Diploma in Performance and PhD at the Royal College of Music. He performs across America, Europe and Asia and is a designer of the world’s first six-string 3D printed electric violin.

Sean specialised in performance training and peer communication in higher music education and his teachers included Radu Blidar, Kyung-Wha Chung, Hyo Kang, Roland and Almita Vamos and Brian Lewis.

Sean was awarded the Rainwater Innovation Grant to design and 3D print a six-string electric violin to perform John Adams’ The Dharma at Big Sur. In 2021, Netflix released their first in-house Anime entitled Eden, in which Sean is featured as a soloist playing this violin. An enthusiastic advocate for contemporary music, Sean led the RCM’s New Perspective’s Ensemble and was a graduate teaching assistant in contemporary music at the College, going on to hold a professorship at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
