A passionate and devoted teacher, Visiting Professor of Flute at the Royal College of Music, Adam Walker, mentors RCM flautists in showcasing their skills.
Adam regularly gives masterclasses around the world. He was appointed Principal Flute of the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of just 21 and is now a freelance flautist performing regularly as a soloist with the major UK orchestras including the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, BBC Scottish Symphony and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
As a performer of contemporary repertoire, Adam has given world premieres of concertos by Brett Dean, Kevin Puts and Huw Watkins. As an experienced chamber musician, he founded the Orsino Ensemble - a group committed to showcasing the depth and versatility of the wind chamber repertoire.
