RCMJD Big Band
Vibrant young jazz musicians from the RCM Junior Department perform live in the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room.
Led by saxophonist Mornington Lockett, the lively, eclectic programme will span the swing era of the 1930s right up to the present day, and feature works by Benny Goodman, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Charles Mingus, Michael Bublé, Herbie Hancock, The Yellowjackets, Gordon Goodwin and Snarky Puppy.
