The Royal College of Music Junior Department Chamber and Symphony orchestras perform a vibrant concert at Cadogan Hall.
Mozart’s famous Haffner Symphony features on the programme, plus sumptuous scores by French composers Ravel and Bonis – a late-Romantic French composer of expressive scores who taught herself to play the piano before entering the Paris Conservatoire, where she studied with Franck.
Turangalîla at the Royal Festival Hall
The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Jac van Steen, perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece Turangalîla-symphonie at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday 1 May, 7.30pm.
