Josie Ellis shares her experience with Royal College of Music bassists in an insightful masterclass.
Josie joined the BBC Symphony Orchestra in 2019 and she continues to freelance with many of the UK's finest orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia and English National Opera. She has worked with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Gustavo Dudamel, Bernard Haitink and Pierre Boulez.
Josie is passionate about teaching and working with young bass players. She coaches the basses of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and NYO Inspire, and has worked with students at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music.
