Embark on a farcical journey into the abyss with this term’s colourful comic opera, Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld.

Director Louise Bakker and conductor Michael Rosewell present a new production of the riotous work inspired by the legend of Orpheus and Eurydice. With mistaken identities, quick-witted satire, and a racy translation by renowned director Jeremy Sams – and of course, the infamous can-can! – Orpheus in the Underworld promises to be a hilarious night of entertainment.
