RCM Opera: Revolutions

24 June 2024 - 28 June 2024

Hear six brand-new short operas created by RCM composers and performed by RCM singers working in association with opera company Tête à Tête.

Each short work draws the audience into a different world, offering a unique opportunity to hear contrasting approaches to opera from these up-and-coming young composers.

From a pair of gleeful Victorian impersonators in 1870s London, to a Russian family held captive ahead of a deadly revolution, to a court composer forced to create a new national anthem in a new era of democracy, each opera showcases the composers' unique takes on the theme of 'Revolutions'.

Produced by the Royal College of Music in association with Tête à Tête.

The performance on Friday 28 June will be live streamed at www.rcm.ac.uk/live
