EU students

The RCM is widely recognised as a world-class institution. We have been ranked the top institution for performing arts in the UK for five consecutive years in the QS World University Rankings 2016-20.
The UK's departure from the EU
The UK’s immigration system is changing following Brexit. A new student visa route has been introduced and this has been opened for all international students, not just EEA nationals, on 5 October 2020. There are also changes with regard to fee status and access to funding support.

RCM professors come from across the globe, including more than 70 from Europe, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise. Our friendly staff in Registry and Student Services are experienced in helping EU students and are available to offer assistance and advice.
We like to ensure all our students feel at home when they arrive. There are plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow musicians and the RCM Students’ Union runs a diverse programme of social events.
‘We believe that you won’t find a more welcoming and inspiring place to study anywhere in the world’
