The Royal College of Music’s international community of staff and students makes it an exciting and diverse hub of musical activity. We have a long tradition of welcoming students from all over the world, in particular from our European neighbours. More than 20% of RCM students come from EU countries, studying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The RCM is widely recognised as a world-class institution. We have been ranked the top institution for performing arts in the UK for five consecutive years in the QS World University Rankings 2016-20.

On 23 June 2020 the UK Government announced changes that will affect the fee status of many EU applicants planning to begin studies at the RCM in September 2021.
