Hungarian pianist Tihamér Hlavacsek made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall in 2003. He was awarded 'Outstanding Young Artist of the Year' by Gramofon (Budapest) in 2006 for his World Premiere recording cycle of the complete piano works of Karl Goldmark (Hungaroton Classics). His doctoral studies into the undiscovered piano music of Karl Goldmark are supported by the Robert McFadzean Whyte Award.
