Gary Matthewman

Gary Matthewman is one of the UK's leading song pianists, appearing in recital worldwide alongside singers including Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Sir Thomas Allen, Sumi Jo, Nuccia Focile, Mark Padmore, Angelika Kirchschlager, Markus Werba, Kate Royal and Roderick Williams. Recent performances have taken him to venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Musikverein in Vienna, and Wigmore Hall in London. Gary has made numerous live broadcasts and recordings for BBC radio 3, and his recent recording of Schubert's Winterreise with Matthew Rose received widespread critical acclaim. Gary is a song coach for the Jette Parker Young Artists at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
