Spring Upbeat out!

On the theme of ‘Stage & Screen’, this edition features interviews with three Royal College of Music alumni: countertenor Hugh Cutting, screen composer Alexandra Harwood, and pianist Cyrill Ibrahim, star of Sky Arts show Mozart: Genius for Hire.

Cyrill also visits the RCM Library to view our treasured Mozart manuscript in a new Upbeat video, plus inspiring updates from RCM students, alumni and staff.

UKRI funding awarded to pioneering historical instrument project at the Royal College of Music

Senior Academic Tutor Dr Ingrid Pearson has been awarded a £100,000 research grant by UKRI to explore how cutting-edge technology can transform our understanding of historical musical instruments.
