Hear a full line up of contemporary works from celebrated RCM alumnae Helen Grime and Charlotte Bray, and RCM composer Zoë Darbyshire.

We're also thrilled to welcome back alumna Anna Meredith, recently ranked number 31 in BBC Radio 4's Top Power Women. Anna's innovative compositions often feature live electronics and visuals, and her large ensemble work, Flak, promises to be a special treat for all the senses.

To access the webpage please:

The RCM provides refreshments for students, visitors and staff throughout the year. There is also a range of restaurants, cafés and other establishments nearby, most adjacent to South Kensington station.

Lunch & snacks

BaRCM offers a great range of hot and cold snacks and beverages each weekday between 9am and 4pm as well as delicious full lunch options between 12pm and 2pm.

Evening performance refreshments

The RCM offers a range of pre-performance and interval refreshments, plus a selection of light snacks for those attending evening events in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall and the Britten Theatre. These are served between 6pm and 9pm (5pm for early evening performances) in the Britten Theatre Bar or the RCM Foyer Bar.

The main entrance to the RCM has eight steps up from the pavement and two inside the main doors. A lift is available for visitors with limited mobility. The lift is built into the smaller staircase to the left of the main entrance steps. There is an intercom button on the control panel, which can be seen and reached easily from the street. On arrival, press the buzzer to notify a member of RCM staff, who will come out to meet you and operate the lift for you.

All our event venues can be accessed by visitors with limited mobility via the lift at the main entrance.
