2. Application of Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all ticket purchases made via our website, by telephone, or in person. By purchasing tickets, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK law.

3. Ordering and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase tickets. A legally binding contract is formed when payment is processed, and you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to confirmation.

4. Payment

All payments are processed securely via Spektrix Payments (powered by Adyen). Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. Accepted cards include Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

5. Ticket Pricing and Availability

All tickets are subject to availability. We reserve the right to change prices, correct errors, or withdraw events without notice.

6. Ticket Delivery

Tickets are delivered electronically and sent immediately after purchase confirmation to the email address registered. Tickets may be shown on a mobile device or printed. Customers are responsible for ensuring they receive tickets. Tickets can be collected from the Box Office if necessary. 

7. Admission and Attendance

The Royal College of Music reserves the right to refuse admission or require a ticket holder to leave the premises for safety, security, or behavioural reasons.

8. Changes to Programme or Event

The RCM reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme or event. In the event of a major alteration to your chosen performance we will endeavour to contact you by email or telephone dependent on the contact details we have for you.

9. Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless a performance is cancelled. In the event that a performance is sold out and demand suggests that the ticket(s) can be resold, a refund may be available. This service is offered to the original purchaser of the tickets only. Refunds will be made to the card you originally paid with. If your card has expired, the Box Office will contact you to complete a refund to a different card. Please note that it can take up to three to five working days for the money to be paid back to your bank account.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used against the Royal College of Music events only.

10. Photography and Recording

Filming, recording and commercial photography are not permitted during concerts and events without prior written permission. Photographs may be taken during applause following a performance unless otherwise notified.

The Royal College of Music or permitted third parties may carry out filming and sound recordings in or about the RCM. Recordings may be used for selected purposes including teaching, research and promotional use. By attending an event you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a member of the audience, and its use for any purposes in private and commercial distribution without payment or copyright. Wherever possible, tickets and signage in the building will state whether events will be filmed.

11. Accessibility

We are committed to making our events accessible to all visitors. If you have specific access requirements, please contact the Box Office in advance of your visit so that we can provide appropriate assistance.

12. Privacy

13. Liability

The Royal College of Music shall not be liable for any losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, including (but not limited to) travel or accommodation expenses incurred in connection with an event.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a query or concern, please contact the Box Office in the first instance and we will endeavour to resolve the matter promptly. If the issue cannot be resolved, it may be escalated in writing to the appropriate department.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
