Hummel Piano Concerto no 2 in A minor op 85
Beethoven Symphony no 5 in C minor op 67

Experience one of the most enduring symphonies in the orchestral repertoire as the RCM Philharmonic presents Beethoven’s Symphony no 5.

This work’s popularity has not diminished its appeal, with powerful melodies and distinctive motifs uniting to create four dramatic and exciting movements.

RCM Concerto Competition winner Dmitrii Kalashnikov performs Hummel’s Piano Concerto no 2. Kalashnikov has performed in Paris, Salzburg, Venice and Russia, and appears for the first time with the RCM Philharmonic with a piece designed to show off the keyboard soloist’s virtuosity and technique.
