Mahler (arr Farrington) Symphony no 9
A thrilling premiere event from the RCM’s Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, featuring a stunning arrangement of Mahler’s Symphony no 9.
Long-time collaborator Martyn Brabbins joins musicians from the RCM Symphony Orchestra for this concert, featuring three different ensemble groups, to perform Mahler's ninth symphony. Enjoy Iain Farrington’s unique arrangement of this powerful work, which takes the huge orchestration for the original piece and distils it into an intimate chamber piece.
Recorded live in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall on 5 November at the Royal College of Music in London, this is a YouTube & Facebook Premiere.
