Award-winning performer, teacher and competition jury member Alexander Kobrin visits the Royal College of Music to guide some of the Keyboard Faculty’s most promising students.
Alexander Kobrin has performed with many of the world’s great orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Russian National Orchestra, Berlin Symphony and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated with conductors including Mikhail Pletnev, James Conlon and Vasily Petrenko. He has given masterclasses in Europe and Asia and is a faculty member of the renowned Eastman School of Music in New York. He is also a jury member for many international piano competitions.
