Join us to celebrate the life and work of outstanding British cellist, founder member of the Maggini Quartet and beloved Junior Department teacher, Michal Kaznowski.
Specialising in cello and chamber music classes, Michal was a revered member of the RCM Junior Department. This concert features solo and ensemble performances from Alexander Baillie, the Maggini Quartet and a number of Michal's former students as they pay tribute to a much-missed member of the College community.
Turangalîla at the Royal Festival Hall
The Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed conductor Jac van Steen, perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece Turangalîla-symphonie at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday 1 May, 7.30pm.
