Helen Kearns

Headshot for Helen Kearns

In her role as an educator, Helen Kearns is passionate about introducing the Alexander Technique (AT) to as wide an audience as possible, but her main focus is bringing the work and its amazing benefits to musicians. She trained as a pianist at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and continues to teach the piano alongside her AT work. Helen has taught AT at many educational establishments and summer schools, including the Royal College of Music (Junior and Senior) and the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department.

In addition to giving workshops across the UK, Helen currently teaches the technique at the National Youth Training Choir of Great Britain, at Mill Hill School and in private practice, and is a visiting teacher at the London Centre for Alexander Technique Training, teaching the next generation of AT teachers.
