Making his inaugural visit to the RCM to work with the Strings Faculty, cellist Ralph Kirshbaum is distinguished as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and teacher.
Ralph has performed with many of the world’s leading orchestras, is a frequent guest at major international festivals such as Edinburgh and Verbier, and founded the RNCM Manchester International Cello Festival. Renowned for his pedagogy, he served on the faculty of the RNCM for 38 years, and is Honorary President of the London Cello Society as well as Artistic Advisor of IMS Prussia Cove.
