From the late RCM professor Joseph Horovitz’s theatrical five‑movement suite, evoking a vivid atmosphere of London’s music halls, cabarets and circuses, to Madeleine Dring’s energetic Trio, and Bernstein’s early work with its jazz and blues influences, this programme offers a light and vibrant musical evening after dark.
