National Student Survey

The Royal College of Music has achieved outstanding results in the 2016 National Student Survey, with a score of 86% for undergraduate students’ overall satisfaction of the quality of the BMus course.

The excellence of the College’s professors and teaching staff is underlined, with 91% of students reporting they were satisfied with the teaching of the course. The results also highlight the RCM’s success in supporting students’ personal development, through confidence building and developing communication and problem-solving skills, achieving a score of 87%. Both results mark the highest percentages across all UK conservatoires.

The 2016 NSS results follow recent data published by the Higher Education Statistic Agency, which found that students from the Royal College of Music are among the most employable in the UK, with 100% of RCM alumni who responded to the survey having moved into employment or further study six months after graduating.
